In 1992, Dakota MAC was developed by First Dakota National Bank to help community bankers and real estate professionals originate agricultural real estate loans at very competitive interest rates and terms. Dakota MAC is the oldest Originator and Seller of Farmer MAC paper in the United States.
Dakota MAC serves as a key link in the financing chain between the originating bank and the appropriate secondary market by providing underwriting and facilitating the loan closing process.
